Happy Sunday!

Being the first Sunday after Labor Day weekend, the team and I had a low amount of confidence in big crowds at our services. Our prediction was partly true--Seawall and Cadillac only had one older couple in attendance. But at Blackwoods, we ended up with three parties for a total of 7 worshipers.

Unfortunately for Luke, he was on the schedule for a 1:00-6:00 shift this afternoon at work. That meant he couldn't join Ally, Sabrina and I for the big lobster party up at a church in Ellsworth. Miles, one of the regulars at Blackwoods, invited us to come to his church's annual festival. Apparently, one of the families belonging to the church are lobstermen and provide free lobsters every September for the congregation. I'm proud to say that I ate two lobsters successfully. It was pretty awesome.

Since we were up in the booming metropolis of Ellsworth, Sabrina and Ally decided that we should go to TJ Maxx. I didn't like that idea, but I didn't have Luke there to join me in opposition. I perused the men's section but didn't find anything I couldn't live with out. I then went into energy-saving mode as I sat on a bench and watched the girls' shopping cart and purses. Good thing the Packers played on Thursday and not this afternoon. Today would've turned out differently then.

We had our clearest sunset of the year thus far. Unfortunately, it was behind the horizon before 7:00. Fall is here. Winter is coming.
